Basic Photoshop Settings
Our professor discussed the Basic Photoshop Settings, particularly the Preference section of Adobe Photoshop. Before we start, he showed us how to reset the settings of the Photoshop. Ctrl + Alt + Shift (for PC) and Cmd + Option + Shift (for Mac), click the Adobe Photoshop application then choose Yes.
Moving on, he discussed the preference section and its other parts where we can change the settings of the Photoshop, it is very important for us to know if the setting are set correctly to avoid repeating and to avoid any other technical difficulties. He also discussed the proper resolution for printing (Printing= 300 ppi)(Screen= 72 ppi) the importance of having bigger memory from the RAM, the Cache, which is the temporary memory and the difference between 32 bit and 64 bit.
Other stuff he discussed and showed us were the interface background, cursor settings, proper usage of brushes, he also showed us the proper use of guidelines, smart guides, grids and slices. Another features of Adobe CC were the puppet warp and content-aware where we can manipulate the object we're editing.
I learned a lot. Aspire for more!!! :)
