Bokeh Photography

According to what I have researched, in photography, bokeh is the aesthetic quality of the blur produces in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens.

I learned how to achieve better bokeh such as

  • Adjusting the depth of field
    • low aperture value - short depth-of-field
    • shorter the focal length - greater the depth-of-field
    • longer distance between the lens and the focal point - greater depth-of-field
  • Choosing the proper lens
  • Creating custom bokeh
  • Relating the foreground to the background
So here are some of my shots using bokeh photography
